Vermont newborn photographer / Quinton’s newborn session
The P family welcomed baby Quinton (loving his name btw) in early 2018. Quinton joined his family that already included the most adorable big sister and brother, making this an amazing in home lifestyle newborn session to photograph. The big kids loved their new little brother and loved on him the whole time I was in their home. This sweet baby boy loved to be snuggled and wasn’t a huge fan of being swaddled. This was a fun session for me to photograph, not only is family super sweet but I have know Dad since childhood. It’s always extra special to photograph childhood friends and their families. To top off a wonderful session their home had the greatest dramatic light in the downstair bedroom, where most of Quinton photos took place.
Welcome earth side Quinton, you are so loved. I am honored to have been able to capture the first “official” photos of this fun family.
I am still booking late spring into late summer newborn sessions. Contact me today to start planning your custom newborn session.
Vermont newborn & family photographer / Gale family session
This sweet family of three turned into a family of four less than 24 hours after this session, so the timing was perfect.
I met the Gale family 18 month prior when Rowan was just a few days old and now he was ready to become a big brother. I think summer sessions at the river are my favorite, it’s the perfect backdrop for any portrait session. I always want my family sessions to be relaxed and fun, and the river gives us the perfect opportunity to do so. Rowan had a blast snuggling with his parents and throwing rocks.

Vermont wedding photographer / Lauren and Tyler’s engagement session
Vermont wedding and engagement photographer
Wow, is the first thing I have to say about Lauren and Tyler’s engagement session. The light, their love, and their trust in me to take a more modern twist on their engagement photos made the whole session perfect. I met Lauren and Tyler through a dear mutual, while they entered a giveaway I did last winter. They came in second place, but that night Lauren and I spent hours on the phone. From that phone call I knew we where a perfect match as photographer and client. Fast forward a few months, the three of us met in person to start planning their photography journey for their upcoming 2017 Vermont wedding. Through out the summer Lauren and I have messaged back and forth about the style of their engagement session, we both love a mix between timeless and boho. When she sent me a picture of her dress I just knew their engagement session would be special. I also knew she need to connect with Rita from Stitchdown Farm (farm run.com/stitchdown.com ) for a one of kind flower crown. Lauren looked like a complete goddess for her engagement session, I can’t wait to see her on her wedding day.
We spent the afternoon walking through the woods near my childhood home, in search of beautiful light. The was air was warm, very uncommon for late November in Vermont. We spent a few hours laughing, talking about their upcoming Vermont 2017 wedding and really enjoying the beauty of a late fall day. I am pleased to share just a few of my favorites from their ever so perfect late fall engagement session. Lauren and Tyler I am so thankful our paths crossed, I am so honored to be a part of your big day. It always so special when clients turn into good friends.
