Vermont Newborn Photographer

Newborn photography is something I am quite passionate about. In the beginning my style was very different. When I first started out, I would have very stylized sessions, and over time I noticed I was drawn as an artist to the simple photos of my newborn clients. This past year I have followed that path to simple more baby lead posing, a mix between lifestyle and studio portraiture. I took a leap of faith when it came to my business and work and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My small Vermont studio took on a full remodel, I sold off everything I had, and started with a clean slate. Walls were painted, setups were simplified with a mix between modern and timeless, and finally a new business name and website rolled out.

When Sophia’s mother contacted late summer to inquire about a possible newborn session, I knew from the moment we spoke we were a perfect match as photographer and client. She told me that she was really drawn to to the simple and timelessness of my studio newborn portraits. I am thrilled when clients say they “sought me out for my style” and they “completely trust me for my vision” for their newborn session. Sophia’s session was all about her infancy and parents, a time that any parent will tell you goes by in a blink of eye. I know Sophia’s parents will cherish her photos for years to come and will proudly display them in their home.
